How does our factory do quality control?

Quality is important for our clients, so our company has our own QC team, we have 5 numbers of QC team with more than 18 years experience, they could control quality very well. This is our inspection process, our QC team will check every step of progress, from raw material to produce progress to final products, if they find any defects, it will be rejected to rework or scrap. From that pictures can clearly show how the QC team inspects, check the raw material, material cutting measurement, use torque spanner to check the intensity. Check the dimension of the outside and shackle size and do the surface treatment. The finished products we will do loading test and stacking test.  This is all the inspection equipment we used. If we find any defects, like welding point open, zinc surface damage, the product will be picked out and will not send to you.

How To Extend The Service Life of Post Pallet Racking

With the development of modern logistics technology, the utilization rate of post pallet racks is getting higher and higher. Warehouse racks are storage equipment, based on packaging, transportation, loading and unloading, sorting, information management of the six basic functions of logistics. Storage metal rack pallet do not need to pay attention to the appearance of products like other products, but the use time of racks has gradually become a concern for consumers. Many factors in the use process will affect the duration of its use, such as the temperature, humidity, light, ventilation conditions of the warehouse. If the humidity in the warehouse is too high, it will cause the racks to rust, reduce the load-bearing capacity of the racks, and reduce the service life. Therefore, extending the service life of racks is inseparable from daily basic maintenance. Many times we have problems with buying racks soon, such as rust, scratches, deformation, etc. The racks are largely unmaintained during use, what should we do?  First of all, we must make daily checks1. Check the usage and depreciation of the racks2. Check whether the uprights and feet are deformed or damaged3. Check whether the rack surface is rusty How to maintain storage post racking1. Apply protective paint regularly to reduce rust. Properly ventilate in time to keep the warehouse from excessive humidity. Although the racks are metal products, and the surface has powder coated or zinc galvanized, but after being exposed to moisture, they may rust for a long time, which will affect the service life. If a wooden board is placed on the bottom, the part near the window is susceptible to rain, and the wooden board will be deformed and lifted after the rain. Therefore, drainage and dehumidification should be carried out frequently.2. Install the anti-collision column. The role of collision protection is very important. The vulnerable parts of the racks are the pillars in the aisles and corners, which are usually deformed by forklift collisions. A set of anti-collision columns should be equipped according to different shelves, aisle widths, and transportation tools. Install anti-collision guardrails in the aisles. Besides, daily inspections should be done, and any loose screws should be fixed in time.3. Prevent excessive load-bearing. The racks of different specifications are designed and manufactured according to the load-bearing. Therefore, the weight of the goods placed on the rack must be within the weight that the rack can bear. Warehouse cargo managers should make load-bearing and load-limiting signs on the racks. We must follow the principle of putting heavyweight on the bottom of the rack, that is, placing heavy objects on the bottom and light objects on the upper floors. 4. It is stipulated that special people use push cars. Heavy-duty and high-rise rack warehouses must be equipped with a power pusher. Since most of the warehouse rack columns are hit and deformed due to the use of non-designated personnel using the pusher truck, the use and operation control of the pusher truck must be operated by professional technicians.5. Handle with care during cargo handling to avoid hitting the racks.6. Establish rules and regulations for use. Different warehouses and different goods have different methods of use. Warehouse managers must formulate rack usage regulations so that workers can learn and comply with it to ensure the safe use and longevity of the rack.In short, we must always pay attention to maintenance, list a regular maintenance plan, and make a record, if there is a problem, we must quickly resolve it. If you encounter some small problems in the process of usual use, the warehouse maintenance personnel can solve it by yourself. If you encounter problems that cannot be solved, you can repair and repair by contacting the original manufacturer of the rack. The rack can be disassembled when not used for a long time, which is conducive to the preservation and maintenance of the rack.We are committed to producing high-quality pipe pallet racks. Reliable production technology and advanced production equipment. If there is any problem, you can consult in time.

How to Assemble Pallet Rack

Pallet Rack Installation: Part 1Once you have all of your measurements and parts ready, it’s time to begin the installation! To install a standalone bay of selective teardrop pallet rack, you will need your two frames, four beams, as well as wire decks or safety bars on hand. One person should start by grabbing one of the upright frames and planting it roughly where it will stay once in use. The first beam to be installed will be the bottom rear beam. The second person will grab the beam, while the first person assists by inserting the beam into the correct punch hole in frame. Then, while the second person is still holding the beam, the first person should insert the other side of the beam into the opposing upright frame. This is what step one should look like:Pallet Rack Installation: Part 2Once the first beam is fully inserted, both individuals can grab the second beam, which will be the top rear beam. This beam will be installed above the beam that was first installed. With beam levels previously determined, the individuals will know which holes the beam needs to be inserted to. Now that the bay can stand on its own, the two installers can install the top rear beam into the two frames together. Make sure the beam is tightly secured to each frame. This is what you should end up with:Pallet Rack Installation: Part 3After the rear two beams have been successfully installed, it is time to install the front two beams. This process will be almost identical to the last, but with the top front beam being installed first. Both individuals should grab the next beam and insert it it into he top front beam level. This should be at the same exact level as the top rear beam level. Again, on both sides ensure that the beam is fully inserted into both upright frames. Take a look what this should look like:Pallet Rack Installation: Part 4Now you’re on to your fourth and final beam installation. This step will be similar to the previous steps. Have both individuals grab the last beam, and insert it into the bottom front section of the racking. This should be at the same beam level as the bottom rear beam. Have the individual on each side securely attach the beam to the corresponding upright frame. The finished product should look something like this:Wire Deck InstallationNow, you have installed your racking you just need to add your wire decking. You should have 4 wire decks that correctly fit into the size racking that you chose. Two wire decks will fit on each beam level. On two sides of the wire decks, there will be a small lip or overhang. These two areas will fit over the front and back beams. See one wire deck in place here:Although a standalone pallet rack bay only requires frames, beams and wire decking there are many pallet rack accessories available. Some of these accessories include: column protectors that protect your racking from forklift impact, row spacers to connect back-to-back racking, safety bars that take place of wire decks, and many more. But, one of the most important and simple accessories that every pallet rack system should have is safety clips. The most common, the Universal Safety Drop Pin can be installed in any pallet rack system. The purpose of this clip is to protect and keep your racking intact if a forklift were to hit the system.

What Is the Purpose of Pallets?

Steel pallets Pallets are a wonderful thing to have in many workplace situations because they allow someone to move a large amount of products with ease. Hundreds of products can be placed on a pallet and transported to somewhere else by using a forklift. This allows an employee to preserve their health and back by not having to lift items, and it also allows them to be much more productive than they would be without the help of a pallet and forklift. Our pallet cages and stillages also make it possible for someone to transport awkward items that don't stack on top of each other easily. Items can be placed into the stillage and transported with a forklift just as easily as items that do stack together properly. Also, our pallet turntables make it simple for pallets to be relayed without having to worry about any difficult manoeuvring with the forklift. Simply place the pallet on the turntable and it can be rotated so another forklift can pick it up.

How to Re-Slot Your Warehouse?

Re-solt Your Warehouse To Save Money Is your pallet racking making poor use of your valuable vertical space? Often times, the solution is to re-slot your pallet racking. What do we mean when we say “re-slot?” Re-slotting your racking simply means adjusting your beam levels so that there’s minimal wasted vertical space. To see a great example of valuable and unused vertical space, take a look at the image below. When this starts to become apparent, a common reaction is to propose getting more warehouse space or additional storage equipment. After all, if space is starting to run low, those are two commonsense solutions. The problem arises when space isn’t actually running low, but is instead being poorly utilized. This is when the solution of re-slotting pallet rack presents itself as a more cost effective solution to buying more space or a new storage system.  The re-slotting process itself is fairly straightforward, but should be carried out with safety as a top priority. It will involve unloading pallet rack beam levels so that the beams themselves can be rearranged to a more suitable height. While this is going on, it’s a good idea to have a dedicated staging zone for the product being displaced and keep unnecessary personnel away from the area. The beam level reconfiguration should be done by a trained professional with experience assembling and disassembling pallet racking. Once beam levels are re-slotted, product can be placed back on the now more-efficient pallet storage racking. Need a Total Reconfiguration of Your Racking? At this point, you may want to reconfigure your whole racking layout. If you want to have it done professionally, you can work with a warehouse layout and design specialist. Have one of our experts take a walk through your warehouse and provide a CAD drawing of your optimal layout. Be sure to let them know of any questions or preferences you have. Also, remember to keep warehouse safety codes and standards in mind, and ask your dedicated salesperson if you’re unsure about compliance. Allow yourself some time to think and review your plans. But, don’t wait around if your warehouse isn’t serving your business needs. After all, the purpose of re-slotting and reconfiguring is to increase space and productivity Post pallets     Cage pallet     Wire decking

Which Type of Wire Deck is Right for Your Warehouse?

The type of wire deck that best suits your pallet racking is dependent upon the type of beams the decks will be used with. The most common type of beam is the standard step beam, which has a 1 5/8” deep indent on the inside beam face, referred to as the beam “step”. When standard step beams are being used, U-channel decks are usually recommended, as the ends of the U-shaped support channel fit snugly on the beam step. Utilizing a U-channel deck allows the user to take advantage of the extra weight capacity provided by the U channel. Another type of beam is the 7/8” step, or “bulk step” beam. These beams are similar to standard step beams, except they feature a step that’s only 7/8” deep instead of the standard 1 5/8”. Users with 7/8” step beams have a couple of options: if available, they may choose to use 7/8” step U-channel decks, which are simply U-channel decks made for 7/8” step beams. If 7/8” step decks are not available, they’ll want to use flare channel decks. Least common but still prevalent is the box beam. Box beams have no step, but instead have four flat sides. Since there’s no step for a U channel to sit on, box beams require the use of flare channel decks. If you began this article confused, hopefully it has lessened the confusion and not made it worse. All in all, the wire deck information required for most customers is fairly simple. U-channel decks are stronger than flare channel decks, but must be used with step beams. Flare channel decks “flare” over the top of beams and fit any type of beam, but aren’t as strong as U-channel beams. If custom decks are being made, more specific capacity and measurement requirements will be needed. However, for most applications, the type of beam, beam dimensions and the amount of weight are the the primary pieces of information that will be needed at the time of quotation.Have we left your wire deck questions unanswered? Talk to a pallet rack specialist about your wire deck needs.

5 Essential Steps To Successful Tire Storage Project

Bulk StorageIf you are storing bulk quantities of tires, you should always consider to maximize your warehouse by having your racking back to back. This will help you get the most out of your building. When the rack is empty, fold it, take it off the way and grab your tires from the one in the back or beside. The aisles have to be at least 10 to 12 feet to allow the lift truck to circulate easily everywhere in the warehouse.Staging Area – Shipping and receivingShould be big enough to help you prepare your orders and also store the empty racks. We always try to keep at least 25 to 30 feet deep if possible. This is the key to save time on loading and unloading your trailers or containers. The small quantities/SKUs/ customers’ tiresTry to avoid wasting too much floor space for these small quantities of tires. Make the aisles smaller: 4-5 feet is good. It will be easier for picking and also to get access to more tires at the same time. *Order pickers lift trucks are the best lift system for these operations.City/fire departmentBefore setting up the warehouse always contact the city and fire department to see if there are any restrictions or modifications that need to be done before moving on with your tire storage project; height of the racks, sprinklers and many more. Nobody likes to be restricted to 25% of the storage capacity after signing a 5 years leasing contract so don’t forget to check prior to buying a storage system.Layout consultingWe are always there to help you with your projects.
